MONITORING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for making setting work of set data easier than a conventional constitution. SOLUTION: The main device 1 is equipped with an imaging unit 2 for photographing a monitoring area, a radio transmission unit 4 for transmitting the image, which was photographed by the imaging unit 2, to another device, a data storing unit 3 for setting each of two or more setting items of set data used in operation of the imaging unit 2 and the radio transmission unit 4. The main device 1 includes a memory card interface 8 for attaching and removing a memory card 10, in which combination of setting items for all setting items and the set data is stored as one setting file in a predetermined setting format, and a setting unit 9 connected with the memory card interface 8 for reading the setting file from the memory card 10, extracting the setting data from the read-out setting file and setting it in the data storing unit 3.
