CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE, AND JACKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an underground structure reducing influence on ground utilization of a road or the like and excelling in working efficiency. SOLUTION: The construction method of the underground structure is provided for constructing a tunnel 1 by pushing out a jacking machine 2 and a U-shape steel shell 4 installed behind. The jacking machine 2 is formed with an opening 2c in the bottom face, and equipped with a chain saw type excavator 3 for excavating a lower part from the opening 2c. The jacking machine 2 is advanced by pushing out the rear end of the U-shape steel shell 4, and a U-shape steel shell 4 is added to the rear end at the advance of a predetermined length. A continuous underground wall 8 extended in the depth direction in the ground by the chain saw type excavator 3 is provided below the jacking machine 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
