FILLING VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable filling a liquid with a gravity type liquid filler J in a vessel B in which a solid material is filled in advance. SOLUTION: A filling valve has: a liquid pouring pipe 26 having a liquid passage 34 formed therein; an exhaust pipe 28 arranged in the liquid pouring pipe and having an exhaust passage 32 formed therein; air valves 12 and 14 each being mounted under the exhaust pipe and being opened and closed by rise and fall of the liquid pouring pipe; and a bottle opening packing 50 tightly contacting the opening Ba of the vessel B to seal the vessel. The liquid is made to flow down from the liquid passage by opening both the valves, and filling is conducted by discharging air in the vessel through a discharge passage. A pass-preventing member 60 having a plurality of connecting holes 60a each having a size small enough to prevent a solid material in the filling liquid from passing through is arranged in the position covering an opening (exhaust opening 43) of the air valve to guide air in the vessel through the connecting holes of the pass-preventing member to the exhaust passage during filling.
