METHOD FOR GUIDING PLANAR ROLLED STOCK AND ROLLER GUIDE FOR PLANAR ROLLED STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve yield and to attain manpower saving in introducing guidance by preventing the bend of a planar rolled stock. SOLUTION: This roller guide is provided with a pair of side guide parts 2a, 2b which are attachable to and detachable from a supporting frame 1 through a guide shaft 13, a pair of main guide rollers 9a, 9b in each side guide part, face-to-face distance adjusting mechanisms 3a, 3b for adjusting face-to-face distance of the guide rollers opposed to each other through the position control of the side guide parts, rotationally driving means 4a, 4b and friction guide parts 5a, 5b. The friction guide parts 5a, 5b are mounted attachably and detachably to the supporting frame on the outside of the side guide parts 2a, 2b and guiding chambers 5a1, 5a2, 5b1, 5b2 for guiding the planar rolled stock S2 for cornering are provided in each friction guide part.
