Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for composite X-ray image pickup using position sensors. SOLUTION: A first image of a subject 130 is collected (910) using imagers 110 and 230, and first position information of the imagers 110 and 230 relative to the subject 130 is obtained 920. A second image is collected (930) using the imagers, and second position information of the imagers 110 and 230 relative to the subject 130 is obtained (940). Using the first and the second images, a composed image is produced. Spacial relation between the images is maintained using the position information. The composed image may be produced, for example, by composing a memory map 310 of image data 320 related to the subject 130, and inserting images into the memory map 310 based on the position information.
