Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load applied to bearings and to improve durability of the bearings even if a drum oscillates due to unbalanced laundry while the drum rotates at high speed for dehydration. SOLUTION: Baffles 40 are fitted to an inner peripheral face of the drum 13 so that an extending direction of each peak part of a chevron-shaped section diagonally crosses a center axis C of the drum 13. During dehydration operation, the drum 13 is driven and rotated in the same direction as the inclination of the extensional direction (clockwise in the figure). As rotation speed of the drum 13 increases, laundry in the drum 13 is raised by the baffles 40 while the laundry is moved toward the rear of the drum 13 following the inclination of the peak parts. Thereby, even if eccentric load is generated by the laundry unbalanced in a peripheral direction of the drum 13, a position of the eccentric load is relatively adjacent to the bearings 16 so as to reduce load applied to the bearings 16.
