COMMUNICATION CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication cable in which a notched groove can be cut deep surely and easily by using a simple hardware such as a nipper. SOLUTION: The communication cable is provided with at least a pair of notched grooves 106a-106b formed alongside a length-wise direction on a outer cover 103, cable parts 11, 12 on either side of the notched grooves 106a-b are formed to have different thicknesses. Preferably, the difference of thicknesses of the cable parts 11 and 12 shall be 0.3mm or more. As a result, when a positioning of a hardware on the notched grooves 106, b for cutting deep the notched groove, blades 107a, b of the hardware hit a wall 12a, b of the cable part 12 having a thicker wall and a positioning is made possible without depending on a visual operation.
