Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory controller capable of data transfer efficiently without causing data destruction even when a transfer source area overlaps a transfer destination area. SOLUTION: A head address of a transfer source area A2 is compared with a head address of a transfer destination area in size and, when (the head address of the transfer source area A2)(a head address of a transfer destination area a1), an endpoint address of the transfer source area becomes the read starting address, an endpoint address of the transfer destination area becomes the write starting address, the addresses are decreased in number successively, and the data transfer is performed in descending order.
