IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of continuing image forming processing suppressed in the degradation of image quality, even when a protective layer is abraded. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, even when the layer thickness of a protective layer 90 is less than a predetermined value, image forming conditions are adjusted so that a development amount when a predetermined reference pattern is formed is a predetermined reference development amount, and the image forming processing is performed based on the adjusted image forming conditions. Thus, even when the protective layer 90 is abraded, the image forming processing can be continuously performed, while the degradation of the image quality is continuously suppressed.
