Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method to exhaust spent cooling air of gas turbine engine active clearance control. SOLUTION: A circumferentially extending exhaust passage 126 is provided for exhausting from an annular region 128 heat controlled air 36 after injected to a heat controlling ring 84 and/or an external casing 66. On a base panel 58 of a distribution manifold 50, a baffle 130 is mounted which is contoured to form the exhaust passage 126 between the base panel 58 and itself. The exhaust passage 126 has an exhaust passage inlet 134 which is formed by an exhaust hole 136 radially opposed thereto via the baffle 130, and an exhaust passage outlet 138 which is formed by an exhaust passage outlet 138 circumferentially opposed thereto between the baffle 130 and the base panel 58.
