Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition reducing defects observed in a coated film when coated by a spin coating method and a die coating method, and to provide a color filter provided with a filter segment scarcely observing the defects of the coated film. SOLUTION: The coloring composition comprises a dye carrier composed of a transparent resin, a precursor or a mixture thereof, a dye, an organic solvent and an antistatic agent. The coloring composition comprises the organic solvent A having ≤10.0 dielectric constant at 25°C, ≤1 nS/cm electroconductivity at 25°C and ≤1.5 mPa s viscosity at 25°C as the organic solvent in an amount within the range of ≥5 wt.% based on the total amount of the organic solvent. The coloring composition has ≥8.0 dielectric constant at 25°C, ≥100 nS/cm electroconductivity at 25°C and ≤20 mPa s viscosity at 25°C.
