Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector in which sedimentation of components contained in the liquid in a liquid container can be eliminated suitably. SOLUTION: The liquid ejector comprises a recording head 23 for ejecting ink from a nozzle toward a paper P, a carriage 20 for reciprocating the recording head 23 in the main scanning direction at a position of predetermined height for a platen 13 supporting the paper P, ink cartridges 21 and 22 mounted on the carriage 20, and a means 53 performing stirring operation of ink in the ink cartridges 21 and 22 by performing movement control of the cartridge 20 at a predetermined timing.
