Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding torch for treating a wide surface area with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A welding torch (20) includes a torch body (22) and a torch head (28). The torch head includes a plurality of tip nozzles (30) arranged in a high density array. A method for roughening a face to be coated comprises the steps of (a) providing an inversion switching arc welding torch (20) provided with the torch head (22) with the array of the tip nozzles (30) mounted thereon and (b) moving the welding torch (20) along the face without generating welding arc between the nozzles (30) and the face to be coated to roughen the face.
