DEODORIZATION APPARATUS AND GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus accomplishing maintenance and enhancement of a deodorization performance. SOLUTION: The deodorization apparatus is provided with a catalyst fin 44 carried with a catalyst for decomposing an odor component of an exhaust gas; a catalyst heating means 47of folding/returning formation built-in in a deodorization passage 51; a resistance part 49 having a passage resistance provided between the catalyst heating means 47 of folding/returning formation of the catalyst heating means 47; and a catalyst vessel 45 including the catalyst fin 44, the deodorization passage 51, the catalyst heating means 47 and the resistance part 49 built-in. Thereby, the catalyst heating means 47 of the deodorization passage 51 directly heats the exhaust gas and in addition, the exhaust gas flows at the outside of the catalyst heating means 47, i.e., near the catalyst fin 44 by the resistant part 49.
