Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having a simple structure requiring a reduced number of driving devices for switching a chair body having a seat portion and a back portion into a lifted/reclined state, which requires almost no backside space required for switching the chair body to the reclined state, to eliminate a wasted space for installing the chair. SOLUTION: The chair includes a base 6, an intermediate lifting frame 50, and the chair body 9 having the seat portion 7 and the back portion 8, and the intermediate lifting frame 50 is liftably attached to the base 6 through a first parallel four-bar link mechanism 10. The chair body 9 is attached to the intermediate lifting frame 50 through a second link mechanism, where the seat portion 7 is supported so as to be advanced/retreated and the back portion 8 is supported so as to be reclined. In a lifting operation for lifting the chair body 9 with the intermediate lifting frame 50 and lowered state of the intermediate lifting frame 50, both of advancing/retreating operation of the seat portion 7 and reclining operation of the back portion 8 are performed by a single extendable actuator 70.
