ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment and an imaging apparatus advantageous in terms of improving operability while being miniaturized. SOLUTION: A notched part 2,720 is formed at a part of an outer face where an opening/closing lid 27 faces the outside, and a lid body 100 is attached to the opening/closing lid 2 swingably between a closing position of closing the notched part 2,720 and an open position of opening the notched part 2,720. On the inner surface of the lid body 100, a memory card housing part 110 to/from which a memory card 4 is attached and detached at the open position of the lid body 100 is provided. The memory card housing part 110 comprises a housing space 115 formed of the inner surface, support wall 112 and left and right side walls 114 of the lid body 100, a card connector 116 to be electrically connected to a contact piece at the distal end of the memory card 4 by the insertion of the memory card 4 to the housing space 115, and the holding mechanism of the memory card 4.
