COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of providing information of its own and information relating to an address book by using a semantic XML or the like. SOLUTION: The communication system comprises two or more pieces of communication equipment, a LAN connected through a router, the function of inputting and outputting data on the LAN, a facsimile for inputting and outputting data through a public network and a mail server, wherein the communication equipment has a transmission part for transmitting image information included in e-mail received through the LAN to other communication equipment through the public network, and is further provided with an access means accessed through a client application by an HTTP protocol, a response means by a semantic XML document when the information of a communication history, a job history or a fax reception document list is acquired from the client application, and a means for releasing/sharing address book information that the communication equipment for outputting an RSS format has by an FOAF data form which is a standardized data form.
