Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a long life capable of restraining a rise of a battery temperature caused by heat radiated from a heat source. SOLUTION: The storage battery body 1 is housed in a box 4. The box has at least four side faces, and spacing means 5a, 5b are formed outside and inside at least one side face. A heat reflection means 7 is formed so as to cover the side face on which at least the spacing means 5a, 5b are formed. The rise of the battery temperature caused by heat radiated from a heat source can be restrained by forming the box 4 of a porous heat insulation material, and the battery with a long life can be provided.
