Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens cap that excels in operability and effective to improve the appearance of an imaging device. SOLUTION: By operating a pressing plate 66, a lock pawl 67 is locked in or unlocked from the internal peripheral wall of the leading end of a lens barrel 106 and thus the lens cap 10 is attached to or detached from the lens barrel 106. To detach the lens cap 10 from the lens barrel 106, the leading end of a cylindrical part 46 projecting from the hole 26 of the disk part 22 of a case 12 is pressed. Consequently, an engaging projection 4802 disengages from an engaging recess 4502, a cord 16 is wound by a reel 38, and the lens cap 10 is moved to a position near a mounting metal fitting 126.
