SOLUTION: This control device comprises a valve timing changeable mechanism 10 changing timings for closing an intake valve, injectors 56 supplying a fuel to cylinders, and an ECU 51 stopping the supply of the fuel to some predetermined cylinders by the injectors 56 and performing a closing delay control for delaying the timings closing the intake ports of the predetermined cylinders by the valve timing variable mechanism 10 during the low load operation of the engine.
