PROPYLENE HOMOPOLYMER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene homopolymer having high melt tension and melt viscoelasticity, good flowability and excellent in moldability owing to a high swelling ratio in blow molding. SOLUTION: The propylene homopolymer has 6 characteristics: (1) 200,000-1,000,000 weight average molecular weight (Mw) by GPC, (2) 3.5-10.5 Q value by GPC, (3) ≥1.2 α/β, wherein α=H50-Tp, β=Tp-L50,Tp denotes the common logarithm of a molecular weight corresponding to a peak position of a molecular weight distribution curve by GPC, L50and H50denote the common logarithm of molecular weights corresponding to 50% height of Tp (L50denotes a molecular weight in the lower side than Tp and H50denotes a molecular weight in the higher side than Tp), (4) ≥90% mm fraction, (5) ≤6.0 wt.% component eluted at ≤90°C by TREF and (6) ≥0.1 number of branched carbon atoms per 1000 whole skeleton forming carbon atoms of the propylene polymer by NMR analysis.
