BROADCASTING RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiver which is excellent in portability for carrying an antenna provided with an earphone for listening to sound integrally with a device main body and is capable of securing the performance equal to or more than that of a chip antenna or an extensible whip antenna even while the antenna is retracted. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set is provided with a telephone set main body 11, and a display part 14 such as a liquid crystal, an operation part 15 for character input, a speaker 12 and a microphone 13 etc., are arranged on the front surface. On the upper part, the antenna 16 for portable telephone transmission and reception is provided. An earphone jack 19 for connecting the earphone 17 is prepared on a case body side face, and an earphone antenna cord 18 is housed on the outer circumference of a case body.
