SYNCHRONOUS WORD DETECTOR, SYNCHRONOUS WORD DETECTION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous word detector in which incorrect detection is suppressed even in case of a small number of synchronous words, synchronous acquisition performance can be sustained even when a DC component (offset component) caused by frequency shift, or the like, is included in a received signal, and to provide a synchronous word detection method, its program, and a storage medium storing that program. SOLUTION: In the synchronous word detector, synchronous word candidate symbol data is acquired from the waveform of a received signal (S2), and the symbol error between that symbol value and each symbol correspondence value of a prestored synchronous word is determined along with an all symbol error average value corresponding to an offset value. Subsequently, an offset correction value from which the influence of DC offset is removed is determined by subtracting the error average value (offset amount) from each symbol error of the synchronous word candidate (S7), and then the synchronous word is detected based on these values.
