Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing film which has an excellent light diffusing property and which can be manufactured by a simple process at a low cost without using developing solution or the like and further to provide an optical element using the same. SOLUTION: The light diffusing film having a relief at its surface and comprising a surface relief material is provided. Further a film for a light diffusing film manufacturing master mold having the relief at its surface and comprising the surface relief material is provided. Preferably the surface relief material is a compound having azobenzene structure. Further the optical element equipped with the light diffusing film is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
