Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid quantity detection structure capable of improving the detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The liquid quantity detection structure 1 is provided with a container 31 for housing a liquid having electrical conductivity; a sensor body 41 mounted to an upper wall 31a of the container 31 and extending toward the inside of the container 31; at least one first electrode E0 provided for the sensor body 41; a plurality of second electrodes E1-E4, provided for the sensor body 41 at a distance from one anther along the direction of movement of a liquid level accompanying the changes in the quantity of the liquid; and a detection mechanism 42 for detecting the continuity state among each of the plurality of second electrodes E1-E4 and the first electrode E0. At least either the first electrode E0 or the plurality of second electrodes E1-E4 are arranged, separated by a distance from the upper wall 31a larger than the maximum thickness of droplet D that adhers to the upper wall 31a.
