Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporated fuel treating device controlling a purged amount of evaporated fuel with high accuracy and at a low cost irrespectively of a variation in the flow characteristics of every purge valve. SOLUTION: A switching valve 48 is a three-way solenoid valve for switching communication of the purge valve 36 between a canister 34 side and a passage 220 on an atmosphere side. When the switching valve 48 puts the purge valve 36 into communication with the passage 220 on the atmosphere side and both sides of a throttle 212 are opened to the atmosphere immediately after start of an internal combustion engine 10, as air is sucked to the purge valve 36 side through the passage 220 by negative pressure of a suction passage 14, air passes through a switching valve 42, a pump 46, the throttle 212 and a switching valve 40 and is sucked to the purge valve 36 side. The flow characteristics of the purge valve 36 with respect to a duty rate of electric current to be supplied to the purge valve 36 is determined from differential pressure of the throttle 212 detected by a differential pressure sensor 44 and from negative pressure of a suction passage 14 detected by a suction pressure sensor 22, and the flow characteristics of the purge valve 36 is corrected.
