Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact resistance-improving agent which can realize high impact resistance without deteriorating weather resistance, even when a small amount of the agent is compounded, and to provide a thermoplastic resin composition using the agent. SOLUTION: This impact resistance-improving agent (a) comprising a graft copolymer (a-1) having at least one (meth)acrylate-based soft polymer phase and a hard polymer phase in the outermost layer and having a volume-average particle diameter of 50 to 200 nm, a graft copolymer (a-2) having at least one (meth)acrylate-based soft polymer phase and a hard polymer phase in the outermost layer and having a volume-average particle diameter of 250 to 600 nm, a water-soluble polymer compound (a-3) having a property for forming physical gel, and a gelling agent (a-4) is characterized in that the rate of the hard polymer phase of the outermost layer in the graft copolymer (a-1) and/or the graft copolymer (a-2) is 0.5 to 10 wt.%, and the thermoplastic resin composition using the agent.
