Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die spotting press capable of performing a minute ascent/descent of die spotting without using a servo valve. SOLUTION: The die spotting press is provided with: a ram position detecting means 5 for detecting the position of a ram 2 and outputting a position signal; and a proportional solenoid valve 66 for controlling direction and flow rate, which makes a press cylinder 4 ascend or descend by controlling the amount of oil based on the position signals.
