Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility to encounter damage of fraud or persuasion by telephone in a case that a user has not a mental attitude for a calling party, when the user does not contract a number display service, etc. SOLUTION: While a terminating call bell rings after termination of a telephone call, even if the user takes a handset, a speech condition with a calling party is not immediately composed, and an attention message is sent out from a receiving speaker 31 of the handset 3. The attention message is repeatedly sent out until either event of pressing of a speech start button 21, on-hook of the handset 3, or clearing of the calling party is detected. If the speech start button 21 is pressed; a message control unit 5 stops the sending out of the attention message, and a circuit control unit 8 establishes a speech condition with the calling party side.
