RADIO RECEIVER AND RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver capable of receiving a hybrid broadcast carrier of the IBOC system in a way of being not susceptive to crosstalk and reception disturbance. SOLUTION: The radio receiver (1) including; filters (44, 45) for filtering the hybrid broadcast carrier and outputting the filtered carrier to a demodulation means; a C/N ratio detection section (47) for detecting a first C/N ratio corresponding to a first digital broadcast carrier and detecting a second C/N ratio corresponding to a second digital broadcast carrier; and a control section (60) for controlling the characteristic of the filters in response to the first and second C/N ratios and a receiving method of the radio receiver above are provided.
