PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpreter improved in execution speed by using only advantages of an interpreter with optimization means [JIT (just in time) system] and a direct execution system by hardware [HAE (hardware accelerate execution) system] by statically and dynamically collecting information necessary for optimization, and considering characteristic processing of individual applications (interruption processing procedure or the like). SOLUTION: Based on execution by the HAE system, a program structure or the like is analyzed to select and execute an effective method in the JIT system. The occurrence frequency of interruption factor or the like is recorded at the time of execution, and a one which should be executed by the interpreter is reselected through feedback. Further, an energy saving request is inputted as parameter by a user, and the method executed in the HAE is adjusted according to its degree. At the time of execution, optimization information is fed back, and when the execution form reaches an optimum state, a feedback system is separated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
