Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand prediction method and a demand prediction program capable of properly predicting a demand for a commodity. SOLUTION: A management computer 21 calculates a trend function to an order acceptance result. Next, the management computer 21 calculates a ratio between the order acceptance result and the trend function to calculate its logarithmic value. Then, the management computer 21 applies fitting using a periodic function to a calculated natural logarithmic curve. The periodic function subjected to the fitting is converted from a logarithmic scale into a normal scale. Then, a periodic variation model in the acquired normal scale and the trend curve (trend function) are combined to predict a demand by using a demand prediction curve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
