SOLUTION: In this management system of an internal combustion engine 1 where a storage medium 3 is communicatively connected to an information management device 4 having a radio or cable communication means 15, the information management device 4 and an information terminal 6 having a communication means 35 installed in a maintenance center 5 for performing the maintenance of the internal combustion engine 1 are communicatively connected through their communication means 15 and 35, and information relating to the names of configuring components exchanged for the maintenance of the internal combustion engine 1, the performance of the configuring components and the exchange dates of the configuring components is transmitted from the information terminal 6 of the maintenance center 5 to the information management device 4, and the storage medium 3 is made to store the information by the information management device 4.
