Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an azimuth angle with small error even a biaxial magnetic sensor is inclined to the ground. SOLUTION: The magnetic azimuth detection device is provided (on the circuit substrate) with: the X-axis magnetic sensor 3 for detecting the geomagnetic component in the X-axis direction; the Y-axis magnetic sensor 4 for detecting the geomagnetic component in the Y-axis direction perpendicular to the X-axis direction; the inclination sensor 7 fixed to the magnetic sensors 3 and 4; the geomagnetism obtaining part 6 for obtaining the X-axis signal P4 of the geomagnetic component in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis signal P5 of Y-axis geomagnetism component based on the information from the X-axis magnetic sensor 3 and Y-axis sensor 4; the inclination angle obtaining part 8 for obtaining the inclination angle of circuit substrate 2 based on the information from the inclination sensor 7; the inclination angle correction part 10 for correcting the X-axis data P8 and the Y-axis data P9 based on the obtained inclination angle; the azimuth angle operation part 11 for correcting the azimuth angle θ0 based on the corrected X-axis data X3 and corrected Y-axis data Y3 corrected by the inclination angle operation part 10; and the azimuth angle correction part 12 for correcting the calculated azimuth angle θ0 to 0 to 360° azimuth angle.
