PANEL MATERIAL FOR STAIR HANDRAIL, AND STAIR STRUCTURE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel material for a stair handrail of excellent working efficiency to easily construct a handrail part of stairs. SOLUTION: In a stair handrail structure, the panel material 1 for the stair handrail comprises a light transmitting face material formed of a parallelogram, and a pair of vertical frame members and a pair of lateral frame members with the inner surface sides fitted to four peripheries. The panel material 1 is formed with tongue and groove parts on the outer surface side of the vertival frame members so as to be fitted to each other. Lower frame members are juxtaposed and fixed on a side girder so that the tongue and groove parts of the vertical frame members are fitted to each other, and a coping 5 is fixed to upper frame members to integrate the side girder, the panel materials for stair handrail and the coping.
