Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating light-transmitting substrate which is excellent in heat resistance, photodeterioration resistance and light transmittance and is suitable for the loading of visible light-emitting diodes. SOLUTION: The insulating light-transmitting substrate is formed from a prepreg obtained by impregnating a light-transmitting fiber substrate with an epoxy resin composition comprising (A) an alicyclic epoxy resin, (B) an organic aluminum compound, and (C) a hydroxy group-having organic silicon compound.
