Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a favorable polishing result and besides prevent breakage of brush bristle materials, even under considerably high temperature when polishing a taper roll, a backup roll, a strip and so on, by a brush roll whose brush bristle material is formed of polyamide resin fiber. SOLUTION: The brush bristle material made of polyamide resin fiber of the brush roll applied to polishing a heat-treated rolling roll, polishing a backup roll of the head treated rolling roll, and polishing a strip or the like is formed of a resin fiber, composed mainly of polynonane methylene-terephthalamide resin, and abrasive grains are contained in the resin fiber.
