Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve adjusting mechanism of a lumbar support by a minimum number of components. SOLUTION: The lumbar support for chairs is provided with a first belt 2 of which one end is fixed on one side of a backrest structure, a second belt 3 of which one end is fixed on the other side of the backrest structure 16, and an engaging means 4 which engages the other end of the first belt 2 and the other end of the second belt 3 to a part where the first belt 2 and the second belt 3 overlap with each other at least at two or more positions in an extended direction.
