DOCUMENT DELETION METHOD FOR DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce documents by replacing or inverting a DVD medium by a minimum necessary number of times. SOLUTION: In the document management system using a DVD library capable of recording information in both surfaces of a plurality of DVD media as a document data storage place, when DVD medium information position information containing a DVD medium number such as a first or second DVD medium and a DVD surface information of a front or a back is held as a part of document information stored in the database of the document management system, and a document registered in the document management system is deleted, a list of pieces of deletion target document information is obtained, and pieces of DVD medium position information are arranged in ascending order.
