Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device and a method of fabricating the same, the device capable of providing a high aperture ratio by eliminating top, bottom, right and left margin caused by misalignment of assembly equipment during assembling a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes first and second substrates, a gate line formed on the first substrate, a data line formed on the first substrate and intersecting the gate line, a thin film transistor formed on the first substrate and connected to the gate line and the data line, a storage line formed on the first substrate and parallel to the gate line, a pixel electrode formed on the first substrate and connected to a drain electrode of the thin film transistor, and further includes a black matrix formed on the second substrate and overlapping a channel of the thin film transistor, wherein the pixel electrode comprises two separate pixel electrodes that are adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction on the storage line.
