Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can display an image with a large screen without making a composition complex, and can be miniaturized when the image is not displayed. SOLUTION: The display device 300 is provided with: a light source 101; a display part 301 which has a plurality of light guide members 102 of propagating light emitted from the light source 101 in the longitudinal direction, makes longitudinal directions of the respective light guide members parallel and is arranged along a display surface; a light deflection part 103 which deflects the light propagated in the light guide members 102 from an arbitrary pixel part 105 among pixel parts 105 respectively formed plurally to the display surface side along the longitudinal direction of the light guide member for every light guide member 102; and a light emission control part 104 which controls an emission timing of the light on the light source 101 and a deflection timing on the light deflection part 103 and emits light of either pixel part 105 in the respective light guide members 102.
