Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational angle detection device capable of appropriately increasing the response speed, while keeping a required detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The rotational angle detection device comprises eight Hall element pairs 111a-111h for sensing variation of a magnetic vector MV emitted from a magnetic rotor 200 turning, in response to the turn of a crankshaft 300. The eight Hall element pairs 111a-111h are arranged so as to sense the variations of the magnetic vector MV as a sine wave signal with different phase. The rotation angle detection device has a signal processing section for selectively outputting one of output signals each rotation angle of the crankshaft 300, in a manner such that angle regions of high linearity of output signals, obtained by Hall element pairs 111a-111h are sequentially extracted, in response to the turn of the crankshaft 300.
