CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION OF CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a patient to carry out examination of one's body cavity even at home. SOLUTION: A capsule endoscope system is provided which comprises a capsule endoscope for acquiring continuous image information including identification biological information of the patient and image information within the body cavity, a patient terminal which transmits and receives information to and from the capsule endoscope, and a medical institute server 3 connected to the patient terminal via a network for transmitting and receiving information to and from the patient terminal. The medical institute server 3 has an identification information extracting section 12 for extracting the identification biological information of the patient S2 from the continuous image information S1 acquired by the capsule endoscope and transmitted from the patient terminal, and an examination information memory section 13 for corresponding the identification biological information S2 of the patient extracted by the identification information extracting section 12 to image information S1 of the patient's body cavity and for storing them.
