PLASMA DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display with improved brightness, discharge efficiency, and picture quality. SOLUTION: The plasma display D100b is provided with an upper substrate, a lower substrate, a scanning electrode 30, a sustaining electrode, a first barrier rib 10, and second barrier ribs 20. The sustaining electrode is formed on the upper substrate so as to be abreast of the scanning electrode 30. The first barrier rib 10 is formed on the lower substrate so as to be abreast of the scanning electrode 30. The second barrier ribs 20 are formed on the lower substrate so as to cross the first barrier rib 10. The scanning electrode 30 is provided with a plurality of bus electrodes (30a, 30b). At least one of the plurality of bus electrodes (30a, 30b) is extended so as be abreast of the first barrier rib 10, and is formed so as to be projected and overlapped with the first barrier rib 10.
