CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF FLAT CABLE TO CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disconnection due to fracture of a terminal part caused because a flat cable is bent near the base of the flat cable when inserting the flat cable in a connector. SOLUTION: This flat cable 1 includes an electric path 13, a base film 14 and a cover lay 15, the terminal part 3 formed by a plated layer, and a reinforcement plate 2. The end part of the flat cable 1 is inserted into a connector 5, and the reinforcement plate 2 is extended from the inside of the connector 5 to the outside. The length of the terminal part 3 is shortened, and the cover lay 15 is extended to the terminal side by a length corresponding to the shortened breadth, and thereby, the cover lay 15 is inserted in the inside of the connector 5.
