SOUND ABSORBING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing film satisfying both transparency and sound absorbency. SOLUTION: The sound absorbing film is configured in such a way that a transparent or translucent air permeable film 1 in which a plurality of vent holes 4 penetrating the film from the surface to the backside are interspersed and a translucent or translucent base material film 2 are laminated and bonded a specified gap away from each other via tacky adhesive layers provided in a linear and/dotty form, and air layers 5 communicating the tacky adhesive layers and the vent holes are disposed between both the films. It is preferable that the thickness of the tacky adhesive layer 3 is ≤5 mm and a tacky adhesive agent forming the tacky adhesive layer has a loss tangent of ≥0.50 by linear viscoelasticity measurement at 23°C. The area of the junctions by the tacky adhesive layers between the air permeable film 1 and the base material film 2 is preferably 10 to 70% of the entire area of the film 1 or film 2 on the tacky adhesive layer 3 side. Preferably, the thickness of the air permeable film 1 is 10 to 200 μm, the aperture ratio of the vent holes 4 is 3 to 50%, and the thickness of the base material film 2 is ≥30 μm.
