SOLUTION: Dihalogenated biphenyls having a specific structure and amines are reacted in the presence of a base using a catalyst comprising trialkyl-substituted and/or dialkyl-substituted phosphines and a palladium compound to produce the halogenated arylamines. The produced halogenated arylamines and amines having a specific structure are reacted in the presence of a base using a catalyst comprising trialkyl-substituted and/or dialkyl-substituted phosphines and a palladium compound to produce the arylamines.
