Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor with rotating rollers on a supporting member for actualizing high-speed run of a carrying belt with small driving force while generating the least friction resistance of the carrying belt. SOLUTION: The belt conveyor 1 comprises the plurality of rotating rollers 5B provided on a roller conveyor 5 as the supporting member for rotating in the carrying direction of the carrying belt 4 so that the contact with the back face of the carrying belt 4 due to the weight of a carried material generates rolling friction which produces almost no wear resulting in a greatly longer life of the carrying belt 4. Resistance onto the carrying belt 4 is reduced and so a travel distance is increased when the same driving energy is applied thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
