Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semi-solidified metal of stable quality in which crystal grains are almost uniformly dispersed into a molten metal in a short time from a small amount to a large amount. SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy in a melted state is charged to a vessel 2. The vessel 2 is rotated around the rotation center line crossed with a vertical line. Air for cooling is blown on the outer face of the wall part in the vessel 2 located on the part upper than the aluminum alloy in the vessel 2 during the rotation and also on the side opposite to the aluminum alloy in the vessel 2 with the rotation center line sandwiched, so as to obtain a semi-solidified aluminum alloy. The vessel 2 is heated to the range from a solidus temperature to a liquidus temperature by a heating apparatus 5 in such a manner that the semi-solidified aluminum alloy is not perfectly solidified.
