COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal in which a decision is made whether address information specified by a user is an appropriate partner or not and the decision results are notified when information is transmitted to the other terminal through an IP network in order to prevent the information from being transmitted to an unintended partner, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The communication terminal comprises a means for storing SIP-URI and an IP address in correspondence with each other, a means for searching an IP address corresponding to the SIP-URI stored in the storage means based on a specified SIP-URI, a means for collating the IP address with an IP address notified from the other terminal when session is established with the other terminal of the IP address searched by the searching means, and a session establishment control means for establishing session when the IP address searched by the searching means coincides with the IP address notified from the other terminal as a results of collation.
